When I studied Anthropology at UWA (PERTH) students were taught that evil Christian Missionaries spread the destructive idea of SIN around the world to cultures who then felt really depressed about their own wonderful cultures. Apparently, skinning children alive and then dismembering and drowning them was "just their way of life".
